Yesterday, 08/10/2026, from 15:00 GMT+03 to 21:45 GMT+03 (duration 6 hours 45 minutes), we observed issues with WhatsApp in Russia.
During the failure, some requests were terminated with an error. Some instances could not be authorized. Sending and receiving messages were performed with significant delays. During the outage, message queues may have formed on the instance.
The technical failure affected instances of the type:
– 11ХХХХХХХХ,
– 55ХХХХХХХХ
The instances could show the status “Not authorized” or “Starting”.
This problem was caused by restrictions on internet use in Russia.
The service has been fully restored. All messages added to the queue have been sent, and all incoming messages have also been delivered.
The GREEN-API is currently running stably.
