History is made every day, every hour, every moment. Our company, GREEN-API, was delighted to participate in the Digital Archive EXPO. While many years ago people exchanged information through letters, today it’s hard to imagine anyone who doesn’t send messages to friends, acquaintances, and colleagues via messaging apps.
That is precisely why it’s so important right now to work on preserving our digital heritage for future generations. To this end, our company has developed several APIs for managing popular messaging apps like WhatsApp, Telegram and even MAX.
Today’s technologies have long since advanced—it is hard to imagine how to store, process, and transmit information about important documents without using digital solutions. In recent years, the digitization and development of information systems in the field of archiving and records management indicate that the industry is gaining popularity in the modern world. Many interesting issues were highlighted, resolved, and discussed at specialized national events, such as the Digital Archive EXPO Congress.
Experts and the country’s leading minds gathered to discuss the IT community’s latest solutions for society and the state. After all, every sovereign country has a national archive that ensures the preservation, acquisition, and use of its people’s important documentary heritage—their history. Typically, the archive preserves materials about the life and decisions of the people, which are the heritage of an independent country, and over time, these documents will become even more valuable. After all, the big picture is seen from a distance.

Digital Archive EXPO: technologies for future generations
From June 9 to 12 in Astana, at the Alem.ai International Exhibition Center (IEC) EXPO, as part of the Congress, organizers gathered to discuss market trends during plenary sessions, thematic sessions, and practical workshops featuring leading domestic and international experts. The Congress promotes the exchange of experience, the development of international cooperation, and the formation of a strategic approach to modernizing the archival sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The GREEN-API team was delighted to discuss our services, integrations, the use of AI in messaging apps, and the importance of document management in business. We were happy to exchange experiences with other participants and guests at the congress. It was a pleasure to meet the industry’s leading minds and cutting-edge companies. Let us take a moment to share what took place during these days.
Congress Program
The event’s program on the first day opened with a welcome address by Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who highlighted the importance of the State Archives and particularly emphasized the role of artificial intelligence in key areas of life, including the storage of important strategic documents.
Following the opening address, Charlotte Lindberg Varakulle, Director of the United Nations Library and Archives, and Faxon Banda, Head of the Documentary Heritage Section of UNESCO’s Communication and Information Sector, took the floor, each presenting examples of how important materials are processed and stored in globally recognized organizations.
The first day of the exhibition was notable for the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Archives of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the International Council on Archives. The main objective of the document is the ongoing exchange of valuable expertise between scholars and specialists from both sides.
The following days of the forum were devoted to presentations by Kazakhstani and international speakers on the development of archival science.

Latest developments
The State Archives has unveiled its own digital tool designed to improve the efficiency of archival operations and expand access to Kazakhstan’s documentary heritage.
There were also some exciting new developments. We saw firsthand the AI Geotopography system, an intelligent platform for managing archival repositories. After all, stable and comprehensive document management requires cutting-edge solutions. The entire forum was focused on identifying and implementing such software and hardware solutions. This system enables the creation of a digital map of archival collections, the generation of a location topography using QR codes on case files, and the automatic generation of technical specifications for storage facilities.

According to the developers of this new product, the system monitors temperature, humidity, and database capacity in real time, identifies deviations in document storage conditions, and provides recommendations for addressing them. The developers note that this solution remains unique in the region and has no equivalent in Central Asia.
Another development is the AI Archival Recognition System for the automatic recognition of handwritten and typewritten documents in Kazakh and Russian. It enables the identification of details from originals and their organization into databases by document type, thereby accelerating document processing by a factor of ten.
The exhibition organizers proudly presented a virtual guide, AI Mura, designed to expand access to archival materials and QuralAI Assistant, an intelligent assistant for assessing the historical and documentary value of documents.

We would like to emphasize that all the announced developments are based on the needs of the archival industry. According to the organizers, artificial intelligence is not so much a replacement for archivists as it is a tool for enhancing the quality and efficiency of human intellect.
GREEN-API’s role
This is not the first time the GREEN-API team has participated in events organized by Kazakhstan’s IT community. We are delighted to share with event attendees how our products solve problems related to messaging, customer communication, and integrating artificial intelligence with our APIs.
We discussed how GREEN-API helps citizens of Kazakhstan in their daily lives, for example, how people were able to submit meter readings via WhatsApp or receive an authorization code for Voltau charging stations for electric vehicles.
We constantly help companies make the most of WhatsApp and Telegram to ensure seamless communication with their audience.

Anyone who wished could receive a branded pen, as well as brochures summarizing the benefits of partnering with our company. All visitors were energized by our staff. We were delighted to invite—and continue to invite—you to visit our office to discuss the details of a partnership.
Closing note
The GREEN-API team would like to express our special gratitude to the event organizers for the warm and friendly atmosphere, for the international guests, and for the opportunity to meet the president. We are pleased to move forward with you in step with the times and build a successful business.
