WhatsApp launches new analytics feature for channels

WhatsApp has announced a new channel analytics feature that is currently being tested in beta for Android. The feature provides channel admins with tools to analyze their audience to improve content.

Table of Contents

Metrics that will be available:

1. Unique Reach: This is the number of unique accounts that viewed updates on the channel. This metric helps to gauge the actual engagement of subscribers with content.

2. Subscriber Growth Statistics: Displays the growth of subscribers over the last 30 days. Administrators will be able to determine what content is engaging their audience.

3. Regional data: Information about the regions where the main audience of the channel is located will become available.

All this will help to create content that will really be interesting to the audience.

It is worth noting that: Only administrators will have access to the channel analytics.

How to get the update?

The feature will be available for channels that have at least 100 subscribers, which will provide enough data for analysis. It is currently being tested by some beta testers and will soon become generally available.

This feature is not available for WhatsApp users in the Russian Federation, as WhatsApp does not support channel maintenance in the Russian Federation.
