Configuring an instance#
To ensure that you receive notifications, webhooks or up-to-date data in chats, the instance must be configured correctly.
To configure an instance, you can use the SetSettings method or change the settings in the console.
How to change the settings?#
Open the console and select the instance whose settings you need to change.
Click the selected instance to go to its page.

Click the "Change" button under the instance number

The settings window will open.

Here you can specify the address for sending notifications, set the message sending interval or choose which notifications you want to receive.
Notifications are set up not only when you need to receive them on a server or through HTTP requests.
To receive data in Chats, notifications must also be enabled.
Toggle the switches for the settings you need.

After changing the settings, click "Save" at the bottom of the screen

Now the settings you selected are saved on the instance.
It takes up to 5 minutes for the settings to be applied.
Which settings should you enable?#
Which settings to enable depends on your needs - what data you need to receive.
- To see incoming messages, enable
Receive notifications about incoming messages and files - To see messages sent from the phone, enable

Receive notifications about the statuses of sent messages - To receive edited messages, enable
Receive notifications about edited messages - To see that the correspondent (or you) deleted a message, enable
Receive notifications about deleted messages - To see updates in polls, enable

These settings will give you the most complete data from your Telegram chats.
