Status of an incoming message on linked devices#

An incoming notification of this type contains the status of the received message when it is read.

Instance setup

To receive incoming notifications about the statuses of incoming messages on linked devices, you need to specify the settings:

  • Disable the markIncomingMessagesReaded setting with the SetSettings method by specifying the value no in the markIncomingMessagesReaded field, or in your personal account in the instance settings you need to set the Mark incoming messages as read field to the No position

  • Enable the incomingWebhook and incomingMessageStatusWebhook settings with the SetSettings method or in your personal account in the instance settings.

Notification format#

Parameter Type Description
typeWebhook string Type of the incoming notification. For notifications of this type the field takes the value incomingMessageStatus
chatId string Chat identifier. The chat with the message for which the status was received.
instanceData object Data about the instance
wid string Account identifier in the WhatsApp* format
typeInstance string Messenger type for the instance
timestamp integer Time of the event in UNIX format
idMessage string Identifier of the sent message or file
sendByApi boolean The flag indicates whether the message was sent from the API or not, takes the values: true , false
status string Status of the sent message or file. The status takes the values:
read - the message has been read
