Once a subscription is enabled, a diamond icon will appear at the top of the app indicating the presence of exclusive content. Channel Promotion#

This feature allows channel administrators to advertise their channels directly in the channel catalog. Promotion increases channel visibility and attracts new subscribers, which is especially useful for new channels looking to expand their audience. Channel promotion is a powerful tool that allows you to stand out from the crowd of channels and attract the attention of potential subscribers interested in your content.

Status Advertising#

WhatsApp is introducing status advertising, giving businesses a new opportunity to reach potential customers through ads displayed in the Status section in the “Updates” tab.

Privacy#

It’s important to emphasize that WhatsApp’s commitment to privacy remains unchanged. Personal and group messages, calls, and status updates remain end-to-end encrypted, ensuring that only the sender and recipient have access to the content.

These personal communications are never used to generate or target ads within the app. Furthermore, WhatsApp will never sell or share users’ phone numbers with advertisers.
