The latest beta version of WhatsApp for iOS 25.2.10.70, contains information about testing this feature. This means that in the next update, WhatsApp intends to provide iOS users with this convenient feature, which is already available on Android.
1. How Linked Accounts Work#
The new feature allows users to sign in to multiple WhatsApp accounts within a single iOS app. This eliminates the need to use multiple devices or third-party apps to manage multiple accounts.
There are expected to be two options for adding a new account:

Setting up a device for the main account, when an account can be created from scratch.

Scanning a QR code to link an existing account.
This feature will provide users with convenience and speed when working with multiple accounts, without the need for additional apps or different devices.

2. Benefits of this feature#
Each added account will work independently within the application, meaning notifications, chats, backups, and settings will remain separate for each account. This structure will help users, for example, separate chats on a work account from chats on a personal account.
Users of devices with two SIM cards will also appreciate the convenience of the new feature. Previously, the solution was to use different WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business applications for each SIM card. Thanks to linked accounts, it will be possible to work with both numbers in one application.
